Sesame Leaves Recipe Empty Sesame Leaves Recipe

Flavored sesame leaves (eat with rice)

(Tsp -- tablespoon / tsp -- teaspoon)

Ingredients:
Sesame (or shiso) leaves -- 30 leaves
Green onion -- 2

Sauce:

Soy sauce -- 2 1/2 Tsp
Powdered pepper -- 2 1/2 tsp
Ground ginger -- 1/2 tsp
Sugar -- 2/3 Tsp
Water -- 1 1/3 Tsp
Sesame oil -- 3/4 Tsp
Roasted sesame seeds -- 1 tsp

<Steps>
1. Finely chop green onion
2. Mix all ingredients in "Sauce" above, then add green onion
3. Add 2 leaves to a bowl, spread a layer of sauce on top, and repeat until all leaves are covered with sauce. Allow to set at least 3 days.
If you plan to eat it soon, then add more sesame oil. If you plan to let is sit for about a month, then use less sesame oil.
