Here are photos from our garden.

Here is a before-after photo of our first workday.

We set up stakes and sticks to section off areas in the garden and tied strings around them to make outlines according to the layout plan.
Strings are used as guides to plant seeds as well.
After laying out, we planted some cool season vegetables.

We did some garden maintenance (inspection, weeding).
Trellis for cucumbers and tomatoes are set up now.

This picture was taken on Sunday 4/3/2016. It was a 32 degree flurry day and there was snow on ground.
Pastor John taught us how to use a plower. We plowed a field by using a plower and clean the field for seeding.

April 17th, 2016 Sunday, It was a very nice day, almost 80 F. Some of them wore a short sleeve shirt.
We have made triangle fences by using sticks and covered them by nets so that cucumbers grow on the nets.
We seeded corns, and flower as well.
本日は三角形の柵を作りましたよ！！！柵の中にトマトを植えるらしいです。柵の部分はきゅうりです。
また、野菜の種も植えました。トウモロコシその他。。。皆さん、お疲れ様！！

It was Mother's day, clear blue sky, 65 F at noon. The seeds of corn and spinach had germinated and begun to grow. Today, we have cleaned up weeds and sprinkled water.

Despite the cold and snowy weather in spring, four volunteers showed up and the lettuce garden was weeded.

It was a hot summer day. Eight people showed up and helped for weeding and planting seeds. Now, we have been using the lot next to our garden as well.

It was a hot day. Despite Memorial day weekend, five people showed up for weeding and seeding. Spinach has grew up and we took some of spinach to home.

It was a beautiful sunny day. The temp was 75F. The corns are growing very fast, and they are more than 2 feet tall.

Green peppers and Zucchinis are growing so fast!!

We have harvested Big Zucchinis and donated to the church.

Cucumbers, Egoma (Seaweed leafs), and green peppers were harvested today. Corns were not ready yet, maybe next week...
